Is there an exam study guide?
Yes, it can be downloaded HERE
What is the exam policy for CCEMTP℠?Students must sit for their CCEMTP℠ final exam and retest(s), if necessary, NO LATER THAN twelve months from the original exam date. After that date, students are no longer eligible to sit for the final exam without repeating the entire course.
I was not successful on my first attempt, what is the re-test policy? There are a few options for a retest. You may retest at either your original site or at any site that is conducting an exam. You would need to contact UMBC and the site coordinator well in advance to get specifics pertaining to the exam and location. A second option is to make arrangements to come to UMBC and retest during our normal business hours. The third option is to meet a representative of our department at a mutually agreed upon location for a retest (for example, a medical conference). Regardless of which option a student chooses, he/she must also contact ehspace@umbc.edu so that appropriate materials can be prepared for the retest. We recommend contacting ehspace@umbc.edu at least 1 week prior to anticipated retest exam date. Please download a retest application HERE.
Does CCEMTP℠ have any endorsements from other organizations?CCEMTP℠ has been endorsed by National Association of EMS Educators (NAEMSE), Air Surface Transport Nurse Association (ASTNA), FP-C/CCP-C aka International Board of Specialty Certification, and the Commission on Accreditation for Prehospital Continuing Education (CAPCE).
